Stoneware pitcher made by Roger Collet in Vallauris in the 60s and 70s. H: 22cm Roger Collet (1933-2008) born in Switzerland, graduated from the Chavannes Rennens ceramics school in 1952, he settled in Paris and worked with the Cloutier brothers. Then he left for Vallauris in 1956 and collaborated with numerous ceramists, including Roger Capron. He opened his own workshop in 1966, produced utility pieces, pitchers, vases, then from 1983, influenced by Chinese cecidons, he produced monochrome pieces of great purity.
